Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A)

The Making Finance Work for Africa Partnership (MFW4A) is an initiative to support the development of African financial sectors. It is conceived as a reference platform for advocacy, knowledge sharing and cooperation on financial sector development in Africa. MFW4A works to involve African governments, the private sector, and development partners in promoting financial sector development interventions across the continent, enhancing collaboration and maximizing developmental impact.

The MFW4A Secretariat was established as the executive arm of the Partnership and works to advance the goals of the Partnership. Operating as an independent entity, the Secretariat is hosted within the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. MFW4A Partners share a common vision of innovative, sustainable, competitive and diverse African financial systems, providing near universal access by 2030, and offering a full range of products and services for the continent.

Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSD Africa)
